Disease characteristics
The population distribution of esophageal cancer is related to age, gender, occupation, race, geography, living environment, dietary habit and hereditary susceptibility. Epidemiology research indicates that the predisposing factors of esophageal cancer include nitrosamine, fungal infection, deficiency of trace elements and vitamins, long-term intake of strong liquor, smoking and poor eating habit.
